From the moment you speak with one of our certified specialists you will see our commitment to you. At The Paver Savers, we are known for our superb service and guaranteed results.
The first step in our paver patio repair process is to meet with you at your property for a free consultation. During this initial consultation, our Certified Paver Restoration Specialist will inspect and measure your project. They assess what repairs or services are required. He will prepare a detailed, written proposal and review it with you. This proposal will outline the process and the products. It has the choice of sealer and the cost to restore and protect your hardscape. Be prepared to spend at least an hour with one of our representatives. This can change depending on the scope of your project.

“The Paver Savers Cleaning & Sealing Process”
If the pavers are relatively new, in good shape and don’t require any repairs, the cleaning and sealing is a two step process. However, if repairs need to be made or the jointing sand needs to be replaced, it will take several separate visits to complete the project. Here’s how it works:
This is our most comprehensive service which may include repairs, replacement of joint material, cleaning and sealing. This service will restore even the most neglected hardscape to its original condition at a fraction of the cost of replacement.
Clean & Repair
We begin the project by making all the necessary repairs. This may include resetting pavers, installing edging and repairing failing steps and walls. Then, all the old joint material must be removed before new polymeric sand can be installed. This is done with specialized power washing equipment… it’s a tedious and time consuming process.
Remember, in order for polymeric sand to cure properly it cannot be applied over any other existing material. All the old joint material must be removed first.
Install Polymeric Sand
After the pavers have completely dried, the polymeric sand will be applied. The sand is swept into the joints and compacted several times to be sure that they have been completely filled. The excess is then swept clean and a mist of water is slowly applied to activate the polymer binder in the sand. This begins the “curing” process. You may walk on the pavers usually within 90 minutes.
Generally, within several days when the pavers have completely dried, our technicians will return to apply the sealer. You can resume normal activity on the pavers after 24 hours.
In some cases we choose to use a joint stabilizer/sealer combination product. In these situations the sealer will be used to activate the polymeric sand and applied right after it has been swept into the joints.
CLEAN & SEAL ONLY
If you recently had polymeric sand installed, it’s in good condition and no repairs need to be made, the cleaning and sealing is a two step process.
The pavers will be thoroughly cleaned using a special cleaner that prepares the surface for the sealer. We will also remove any stains such as rust, paint, or grease at this time.
Once the pavers have dried completely, our technicians will return to apply the sealer. You can resume normal activity on the pavers after 24 hours.
If your pavers have recently been cleaned and sealed, this service helps to keep them looking their best between applications of sealer. This is great for a spring clean-up or to prepare your patio for an event.
The pavers will be gently cleaned using a special cleaner to remove any built up dirt and grime. We will also remove any stains such as rust, paint, or grease at this time. This cleaning will not affect the sealer or the polymeric sand.
